I was going through my cache of photos in preparation for a long overdue update to my GES Photography site when I realized that I had a rather large body of work of various themes. Some of the photos I may have posted before, but quite a few have yet to see the light of day. Here, for your consumption, are some “street” style images plucked from the archives.
So, I’m cheating a little on this one. They’re actually friends that I was waiting for but their reaction was so spot on that I had to include it as a street-style image.
I love olives! In the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul, there were so many choices!
This homeless woman is a fixture in Hong Kong. It’s a pity that a “global city” like HK has such a lack of social services.
They take their fishing very seriously in Istanbul
Face painting at the annual summer Kits Days festival.
This woman in HK goes by the handle “Little Cookies”. Her art work is placing dolls in various spots in HK and creating a scene as if the doll were actually there.
That Dublin shot is terrific! What’s he jumping off?

Thanks. Dublin was great. I must go back before too long. That’s a bridge that he and several others were jumping off. They’d climb up the supports to the top and then leap off, climb back up, repeat. Seemed like the thing to do in Dublin. All over the city, wherever there was water, there were (predominantly) guys jumping into the water.
